SPANK ROCK AND NINJASONIK AT RUST

Friday January 29, Spank Rock and Ninjasonik took a little visit on the stage at Rust in Copenhagen. The whole night was full of energy and funky sounds. Even though the snow was falling hard outside, Rust was packed with happy and ass shaking boys and girls. Ninjasonik was first on stage and they sure know how to start a party, and take the crowd with storm. They not only entertained, they also interacted with the audience by jumping out in the crowd, inviting girls to go on stage and they even went for drinks at the bar after the show. Spank Rock followed up with a cool performance and considering that it was only him up on that stage, he rocked it. He filled the place with joy and fresh vibes.

I am now a big fan of both Spank Rock and Ninjasonik.

Thank you for a cool night, I had a blast.

Special thanks to Josh Iowa for the cool photos.

Collectible mini LEGO figures

LEGO introduces collectible mini figures and the first series consists of 16 figures. The figures will come in a blind boxed package. This is in my opinion one of greatest news in 2010 so far. Mainly because I remember as a kid, I always wanted LEGO to make mini figures, so it would be easier to get the figures you wanted, without buying a whole big package and now a whole lot of years later, it's here. There is so far no release date yet, however the retail price should be around 2 USD for each package.

An interview with Pharrell Williams

Pharrell Keynote at MIDEM 2010

Here is an interview with superstar producer Pharrell Williams, giving you an insight on his way of thinking with his designs and his thoughts about how artists can engage their fans in the digital era.
Don't mind the weird, loud sounds in the beginning, it's a problem with the microphone in the video, but it get's better as the video goes.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAM MASTER JAY!

Today the legendary  DJ Jam Master Jay would have been 45 years old, but due to his tragic death back in 2002, when he was shot down in a recording studio in Queens, he is not here to celebrate the day with us. He was a part of Run DMC and was a big inspiration to many people in the hip hop community. So in memory of Jam Master Jay we dedicate this day to his funky music and his fresh style, that will never die in the world of hip hop.
