bARBARA í gONGINI Autumn/Winter 2010 Copenhagen Fashion Week
One of the shows we've been looking forward to the most was the bARBARA í gONGINI show and the Danish designer didn't let us down. She showed us a very dark and mysterious, but yet exciting collection. Oversized pieces with a nice use of different materials, which were put together nicely. Cool oversized dresses and loose tops were some of the main items, but also classic trousers with an edgy touch found their way to the collection. So all in all there was a little something for everyone. The models also had to do more than just their normal up and down runway trip. A hard runway choreography, that from above could look like the models walking in an inviseble square labyrinth. However, it gave the audience and photographers a good view of different pieces and it also held the audience focused throughout the show. In the last part of the show a blonde woman came unto the runway and sang while walking on the runway, it was a bit weird, but gave it the show a little extra, than what you're normally used to.
